Manufacturing Engineer

Welk-ko Fabricators Inc. is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer in Livonia, MI.

Manufacturing Engineer Job Responsibilities:

• Direct the design, development, and improvement of the sheet metal manufacturing process

• Create models for parts and assemblies using MultiPunch PC by Strippit LVD, Cimatron, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks

• Support the purchase and installation of new equipment

• Ensure that manufacturing has accurate and detailed information on specifications to produce the part

• Develop detailed, pre-planned job estimates by defining the sequence, operations, setup and cycle time requirements

• Track performance metrics and lead efficiency improvement efforts

• Determine preventative maintenance activities and schedules for the equipment
